Six things that make a quotation accurate

A partial set still gets you a quotation — but the more of these you can give, the closer the first number will be to the final one.

  • A 3D file or drawing. STEP, IGES, X_T, STL, DWG or PDF. A physical sample or a competitor's part also works — we can measure it.
  • The material, or how the part is used so we can recommend one.
  • Annual and total volume — this sets mould life and cavity count.
  • Which dimensions are critical — the ones the part must hold to fit, seal or assemble.
  • Cosmetic requirements — polished, textured, matte, transparent, or completely hidden.
  • Target timeline — when you need the tool and when you need parts.

If you are comparing suppliers, read our FAQ on how to choose an injection mould supplier in China — the four checks that separate a toolmaker from a reseller.

What happens next

No automated funnel, no drip campaign — a toolmaker reads your enquiry and responds.

1

We read and reply

Your enquiry is reviewed by an engineer who works on tooling, not a general enquiry desk. Expect a first response with questions or a quotation, normally within two working days.

2

DFM and design review

If the project looks like a fit, we review the part for manufacturability, propose the mould structure, gating, cooling and steel, and issue a mould drawing for your approval.

3

Machining, trial, approval

Steel is cut in-house with progress photographs, critical dimensions are verified on CMM, and T1 samples are sent to you. Nothing is signed off until your parts measure correctly.

Want to see the factory before you commit?

We can arrange a live video walkthrough of the mould workshop, the injection floor and the inspection room — the machines, the moulds in progress and the CMM room, in real time.
